This was a very interesting project. The roof was covered in Random Westmoreland slate in diminishing courses.
The roof had to be stripped and battened to varying gauge and original slates re-holed and re-fixed. We had to find several thousand reclaimed slate to mix in. All original details were reproduced including, mitred and soakered hips and mitred valleys. All the deorative ridge were re-used and all of the lead work was replaced
